Naia and the Moon
Based on the Brazilian fairy tale about the Vitoria Regia flower, Naia and the Moon is a young adult fantasy about a girl who just wants to save her grandmother from being taken by the goddess of the moon. To do so, she’ll have to brave the dangerous and magical depths of the rainforest where the characters from all her grandmother’s bedtime stories are very real, and very dangerous. Fortunately, Naia isn’t alone. Accompanied by her best friend and curandeira-in-training, Aline, she will face trickster shapeshifters and cursed salamander princesses, witch queens and river guardians, spirits and monsters, and her biggest adversary of all: the prince of the moon himself.
